February’s Exclusive Web Club Content

Feb 1, 2019 | Web Club News

There’s a real treat for members of our club this month, with five fabulous, totally exclusive new projects to get your teeth into. First up is Lisa Taggart, who has worked her magic with stencils from our partners Bubbly Funk in her video tutorial – I love her project to the moon and back (see what I did there?), and hope you will too.

Next up, the wonderful Simona Rebecchi has been let loose around glitter, and boy did she make the most of it adding all kinds of glimmering goodies to this project. And yet her delish tag project is beautifully understated and subtle, capturing the feel of a magical, enchanted evening. Follow along with her detailed step-by-step tut.

New Tutor Josefine Forage is making her debut this month (welcome Josefine!) and she has been playing with some of her favourite things. Her video tutorial has some great insights into working with gesso board and paint (gesso board is a new substrate to me but I now need to try some). The resulting canvas is contemporary, fresh and beautifully understated.

Corrie Herriman is also back this month and she’s made one of her signature projects, a teeny weeny book. This project, created from a single sheet of paper, is utterly adorable but very low cost and adaptable to a whole range of subjects. See exactly how she created this easy but super effective Valentine’s treasure in her video tutorial.

And last but definitely not least, Chrissy Colon is ready for carnival with this epic crown project! She’s used paint pour techniques in 3D using Pouring Medium from our partners DecoArt. It looks a million dollars but it’s deceptively simple as Chrissy shows in her tutorial, and I think you’re going to want to try this one at home.

I said last, but there is (said in best Columbo voice) just one more thing… your printable download for February. I sourced some awesome 1930s German postcards and they are yours to download and use in your art. There are five in all in the bundle. I am in  love with the ice cream colours and doesn’t that sunray just scream Art Deco?

I hope you love this month’s creative inspiration as much as I do. Remember you can only get these makes by joining us as they are exclusive to Mixed Up Creative club members – find out more here.

Happy creating lovelies!
